General Information:

Oxytetracycline HCL Injection is indicated for the treatment of systemic diseases, respiratory infections, bedsonias and local disturbances caused by micro-organisms in cattle, pigs, sheep and goats. Oxytetracycline Injection is an anti-microbial agent that is effective in the treatment of a wide range of diseases caused by susceptible Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

For cattle and goats: pneumonia and shipping fever; foot rot and diphtheria; bacterial enteritis; wooden tongue; leptospirosis; and anaplasmosis.

For swine: bacterial enteritis, leptospirosis; and prevention of atrophic rhinitis.

Side Effects:

As with all veterinary medicine, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of oxytetracycline injection. Always consult a veterinary doctor or animal care specialist for medical advice before use. Side effects include irritation at the injection site, upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea, sensitivity to sunlight, swelling, and rash.
